This article is devoted to the study of the "myth of sacrifice" in a wide historical,
cultural and mythological discourse, on the actual linguistic material of the texts of theRussian historical novel and Bulgarian literature of the 19th century. This approach providesan opportunity to identify the points of contact and intersection of the mythopoetics of
individual national literary models in the context of the historical contact of cultures. Withinthe framework of precisely these parameters, we came to the consideration of the Russianhistorical novellas ’’About the grandeur of the reigning great city of Moscow, which will beconceived first’’ (XVII c.) and ’’Tales of the murder of Daniel Suzdal and the beginning of
Moscow’’ (XVII c.), ’’The Tale of Tver’’ (XVII century) and the poem ’’The Source of theBelonogaya’’ (XIX c.), the founder of the Bulgarian realistic poetry Petko Slaveikov in thecontext of intertextual relations.
The focus of our study also includes some definitions, which in our opinion areimportant from the point of view of the genealogy of "sacrifice" and "zamurovyvaniya" inthe construction of a new city or new buildings.
In the course of the work it was established that, because of the stratification of thesemantic meanings of "sacrifice", "immolation" in the cultural-historical diachronic plan, thetexts containing the above motives function in different contexts and cause different
reflections inherent in each separate cultural. Within this framework, it was also establishedthat "sacrifice" and "immolation" in the construction of a new city or new buildings is arooted strategy of mythological thinking "in the spiritual mentality of both Russian andSouth Slavic peoples.
Çalışmamızın amacı ’’kurban mitini’’ metinlerarası bağlamında ele alıp, adı geçen her iki kültürde de bireylerinin toplumsal, ahlaksal ilişkilerinde ceza eylemini ve eğilimlerini ortaya çıkarıp, karşılaştırmalı bir biçimde onların nedenlerini irdelemektir. Böylece her iki edebiyattan da seçmiş olduğumuz metinler söz konusu olgunun adeta mitolojileştirilmiş ve somutlaştırılmış birer ulusal model oluşturan özellikleri aşısından incelenmiştir. The aim of the paper is to investigate "myth of sacrifice" in some texts of Old Russian and Bulgarian literatures in a socio-spiritual context. Within the framework of these parameters, we have come to consider separate literary texts in the context of intertextual relations. In this connection, the texts chosen by us in this work are considered mainly through the prism of those features that appear to be crossed on the general background of the mythopoetics of each individual national model.
