Authors submitting or publishing their work in the Karadeniz International Journal of Social Sciences (k.deniz) agree to the following copyright and licensing terms:
1. Copyright Ownership and Licensing
Authors retain the copyright of their articles while granting the journal the right of first publication. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) license, which allows others to share and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given and the source is cited.
2. Additional Publication Agreements
Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal’s published version of the work (for example, posting it to an institutional repository, personal website, or inclusion in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in the Karadeniz International Journal of Social Sciences.
3. Sharing and Preprint Policy
The journal encourages authors to post their preprints or working papers online (e.g., institutional repositories or personal websites) before and during the submission process, as this practice promotes productive scholarly exchange and may lead to earlier and increased citation of published work.
All copyright and licensing practices are in accordance with the principles of Creative Commons and COPE.
