Interdisciplinary relations is becoming more apparent day by day. In addition to the tourism’s strong relations with the various disciplines, such as sociology and psychology, literature, there has been various branches that related with the literature, including history and geography. In this study the interaction of tourism and literature has been examined and it has been tried to determine the effect of literature in the development of tourism and the effect of tourism in the development of literature. As a result, it has been found that in the formation of literary works, tourism makes a contribution and the literature contributes to the tourism to spread of certain people and areas.

Disiplinler arası ilişkiler gün geçtikçe daha belirgin hale gelmektedir. Turizmin pazarlama, yönetim-organizasyon, sosyoloji ve psikoloji gibi birçok disiplinle güçlü ilişkisinin yanında edebiyatın da başta tarih ve coğrafya olmak üzere çeşitli disiplin dallarıyla bağlantılı olduğu alanlar bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada edebiyat ile turizmin etkileşimi incelenmiş, edebiyatın gelişmesinde turizmin; turizmin gelişmesinde edebiyatın etkisi belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak turizmin edebî eserlerin oluşmasında ve edebiyatın turizm hareketini belirli kişi ve bölgelerde yayılmasına katkı sağladığı görülmüştür.
